A souvenir scent, that of returning to the stables after a weekend of show jumping competitions. A discipline that Marc-Antoine Corticchiato has practiced for a long time, and which he evokes here – the adrenaline of competition, the joy of returning to the stable… A perfume-universe, that of the equestrian world, when the horses have been taken down from the truck and return to their box. We then take the canteens from the van, these large trunks from which a mixture of strong animal odors emerge: leather from the harness and gaiters, saliva from the bits, sweat from the saddle cloths, tar with which we coat the hooves, remains of straw and hay on the blankets... To capture the scent of opening the trunks, Marc-Antoine chose the most difficult material in perfumery: the essence of oud wood. Distilled since the year 1000, its fragrant resin results from an attack on the Aquilaria wood, after a very slow process evolving over several decades. This sumptuous liquid gold, used here in overdose, then displays all its panache. Wild floral, narcissus exalts the insolent character of Ruade with its mane note and its straw effects. The absolute of cut hay lends its power to the evocation of hay fetuses whose scent saturates the air and panics the horses. An intrepid perfume with precious materials in overdose, saturated with animality and rebellious like a kick.
