Top notes are Hazelnut, Fig, Orange, Lemon and Red Mandarin; middle notes are Nutmeg, Fir, Jasmine and Rose; base notes are Vetiver, Cypress, Ambergris and Musk. Qing by Papa James is a unisex fragrance built around a contrast of fruity, marine, and woody notes. It opens with a blend of fig and bright citrus facets of orange, lemon, and red mandarin, nuanced by hazelnut and a sweet, jam-like nuance. The heart combines rose and jasmine with an oceanic accord and aromatic fir, accented by nutmeg for a lightly spicy undertone. The base rests on cypress and vetiver supported by musk and ambergris, giving the composition a woody, slightly earthy and mineral drydown.
