Parfume d’Extase by Marchesa is a Floral fragrance for women. Parfume d’Extase was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Annie Buzantian. Top notes are Iris, Violet Leaf and Freesia; middle note is Jasmine; base notes are Musk and Orris Root. The house of Marchesa is launching their first fragrance in September 2012. Name of the perfume is Parfume d’Extase and it aims at elegant women who prefer Marchesa's glamour on the red carpet. The idea to launch the fragrance originates from Georgina Chapman and Keren Craig, cofounders of the fashion house, who wanted this fragrance to evoke an emotion, just like their eveningwear. Creator of the fragrance is Annie Buzantian of Firmenich. It opens with iris, freesia and violet leaves, heart beats in rhythm of night-blooming jasmine while the composition closes with iris root, ambrox and musk. The bottle is also very beautiful and transfers glamour and elegance, with a lot of detail and sparkle. The designers collaborated with Malin Ericson of Vanessa Stevens + Company on design of this crystal flacon banded with hand-set crystal accents resembling a bow. Their inspiration was a collection of handbags with signature crystals launched recently. The fragrance will be true refreshment on the perfume market in autumn and will be available in Sephora stores and on Sephora's website.
