Oud Supermassive was created by Arnaud Poulain and Julien Rasquinet. Top notes are Mandarin, Bergamot and Cardamom; middle notes are Osmanthus, Peach and Passionfruit; base notes are Tobacco, Oud, Leather and Olibanum. Oud Supermassive by Les Eaux Primordiales is an extrait de parfum created in collaboration between brand founder Arnaud Poulain and perfumer Julien Rasquinet. The composition explores oud through a dialogue between Eastern traditions and European influences, aiming for a less smoky, less animalic style of oud while preserving its depth. The fragrance opens with a bright, spiced citrus accord of mandarin, bergamot, and cardamom. A fruity-floral heart of peach, osmanthus, and passion fruit introduces a soft, luminous character and a subtly tangy nuance. In the base, tobacco, oud, leather, and olibanum form a warm, resinous and woody foundation that emphasizes the sacred-wood aspect of oud while maintaining a smooth, modern profile.
