Celine : This was our chance to capture fields of young wheat: they represent a new beginning, the start of spring when everything is beginning to grow. The idea was to capture the fresh air breeze in the fields when the wheat is still green. At the same moment there is a botanical, slightly powdery contrast from the white meadowsweet blossoms. Mathilde : I used some grapefruit to draw out the fresh youth of the wheat. I love the dryness that the vetiver brings too – it’s such an earthy note and for me it resonated with the concept of green wheat. It’s the freshest of the collection, and represents the cereals before they mature into grains. An English field at dawn, full of the joys of spring. Filled with young, green wheat. Crisp and fresh.
