Top notes are Tobacco, Pink Pepper, Cardamom and Cinnamon; middle notes are Patchouli, Sandalwood, Heliotrope, Jasmine and Geranium; base notes are Tolu Balsam, Bourbon Vanilla, Tonka Bean, Benzoin and Ambroxan. The fragrance begins with a fiery cinnamon, its warmth immediately noticeable. This spicy opening evolves into an implicit boozy fruity accord, contrasted by the sweet, marzipan-like heliotrope and the dry, textured tobacco. Cardamom's cool, spices add complexity, highlighting the vanilla-soaked woods in the base and giving them a polished, almost lacquered finish, reminiscent of richly colored Chinese screens.
