ENEA by Filippo Sorcinelli is a fragrance composed by Filippo Sorcinelli and released in 2025 as part of the ENEA E DIDONE duo created with 7Scents Perfumery. The perfume is conceived around the myth of Enea (Aeneas) and his fated separation from Queen Didone (Dido), reflecting themes of love, duty, and sacrifice associated with the founding of the future Roman Empire. The composition opens with dried citrus, black pepper and bay leaf, moving into a heart of incense, cypress berries and leather that introduces a solemn, structured character. The base combines ambergris, cedarwood, myrrh and mineral musk, creating a contrast between warmth, smoke and a cooler mineral dimension, in line with the idea of tension between personal feeling and imposed destiny. ENEA is issued as a limited edition of 500 pieces and is available exclusively as part of the ENEA E DIDONE duo through 7Scents in Hungary.
