Top notes are Apricot Jam, Ylang Ylang and Mandarin; middle notes are Butter, Peach, Ylang Ylang and Salt; base notes are Vanilla, Osmanthus, Benzoin, Amber and Musk. Doux Ennui opens with a bright and gourmand start, evoking the splendor of the french court — a true luxury to wear. The freshness of mandarin blends with the velvety sweetness of apricot jam in a refined, ironic tribute to the iconic brioches that made Marie Antoinette famous. The exotic touch of ylang ylang adds a first whisper of sensuality, like an unexpected caress among the velvets of versailles.
