Landfall by Pollini Profumi is a Oriental Woody fragrance for women and men. This is a new fragrance. Landfall was launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Manfredi Gaetano. Top notes are Cacao, Coffee and Labdanum; middle notes are White Chocolate and Tonka Bean; base notes are Ink, Pinesap, Agarwood and Himalayan Cedar. Landfall is inspired by the first Symphony of the Turin composer, significantly titled "Oceans." According to Ezio Bosso, oceans are not just physical bodies of water but also symbolize the challenges and obstacles life puts before us. In this sense, Landfall mirrors the historical moment we are living through and its intimate contradictions: a fragrance on the border between the inevitable fall of a grand past and the imminent new dawn of Central European history, set in the Italian city of Trieste, home to the best coffee in the world and the finest Austro-Hungarian pastries. The fragrance notes are: vibrant Indian Coffee accord, Bitter Cocoa, precious Tonka Bean Absolute, White Chocolate Cream; deep Agarwood (Oud), mighty Himalayan Cedar, Ink, and Ghost Flower (Monotropa Hypopitys), a parasitic geophyte with an earthy scent that grows on the Karst Plateau of Trieste.
