Top note is Soybean; middle notes are Ylang Ylang, Jasmine Sambac and Jasmine; base notes are Myrrh, Opoponax and Styrax. ‘JANG’ pays homage to traditional fermented sauces that form the foundation of Korean cuisine. In the past, every household crafted their own 'jang' in large clay vessels ('jangdok'), filling the air with the comforting aroma of fermenting soybeans. This fragrance captures that nostalgic essence in a modern, wearable form. The robust scent of soybeans, jinjang (aged soy sauce), and charcoal is softened by the sweet embrace of jasmine and ylang-ylang, with deep, earthy undertones reminiscent of the clay vessels.
